The stretch of the Malahat between Wellswood and Okotoks roads, about four kilometres north of Langford, has reopened following a truck fire Thursday morning.
The northbound lanes of the highway closed about 7 a.m. and opened up to single-lane traffic just after 7:30 a.m. The highway fully reopened about 9 a.m.
The Transportation Ministry said to expect delays.
Southbound lanes remained open throughout.
