Victoria police are warning local business owners after multiple reports that a thief has been targeting staff rooms.
The most recent incident happened Wednesday at a business in the 1400-block of Blanshard Street. A manager said surveillance video from about 4 a.m. shows a man following a delivery person into the business and heading to a staff area.
Later, it was discovered that cash, wallets and a mobile phone had been taken.
The suspect is described as white and 40- to 50-years old. He was wearing a dark leather coat, blue jeans and a dark toque, and had a large backpack.
