As we was driving around on the weekend with our children, my son kept commenting on the new bench designs that are meant to keep people from lying down and taking a perhaps much-needed rest.
He wondered aloud: “Why would the city do that?” My husband and I had no good answer. Perhaps someone at city hall would like to talk to him more about the plight of the homeless and what is (and is not) being done.
