Tell us about your previous elected and/or community experience.
This is my first run at civil politics.
Why are you running? What’s your motivation?
I decided to run for office after disagreement with decisions of the 2018-2022 council.
What are your top three issues?
The downtown area is vital to our community. Council needs to listen to their concerns and act on them.
Automobiles are still the number one family transport for getting in and out of the region. Recent traffic calming measures have made this action difficult and confusing as a driver. Council needs to take another look at this to optimize transport flow.
What’s your vision for your community in 25 years?
I would love to see our city prosper and grow as a World Class City surrounded by the beauty that abounds us.
What’s one “big idea” you have for your community?
Light rail service from Victoria downtown to YYJ and Swartz Bay ferry terminal would be great.
