Langford Councillor since 1992 and CRD Director since 1997
Why are you running? What’s your motivation?
Residents want to have their say and be listened to. I want to be their representative on Council. Council needs a code of conduct, bylaws for tree retention and dust mitigation. I think people want to hear from all their elected representatives not just the mayor. A code of conduct would help to restore civility to the table.
What are your top three issues?
1. Institute a Strategic Plan
2. Pass a Code of Conduct
3. Focus on environment and climate change.
What’s your vision for your community in 25 years?
Have Langford continue to be a great place to live, work and play, with a diversified and a robust economy and lots of greenspace.
What’s one “big idea” you have for your community?
Introduce a strategic plan.
