Barb Desjardins has won a fifth term as mayor of Esquimalt.
Desjardins, who has been mayor of the township since 2008, was running against Sonya Gracey, who had served two terms on Victoria council.
“I want to say thank you to the people of Esquimalt and I am so honoured to have the opportunity for another term,” said Desjardins, who promised to make Esquimalt better.
Desjardins will be joined at the council table by incumbents Ken Armour, Jacob Helliwell and Tim Morrison and by newcomers Andrea Boardman, Duncan Cavens and Darlene Rotchford.
