Why are you running? What’s your motivation?

The incumbent Council team is a good one which I think I can contribute to as we address the changes, issues and growth of our community

What are your top three issues?

• Zoning Bylaw update …to ensure that new zoning clearly reflects the intention of the OCP and captures the result of ongoing input from residents;

• Engagement … to seek broad public input and seek the approval by residents of any necessary spending on major capital projects;

• Active Transportation … to provide access to our community for all individuals;

• Fiscal Responsibility … to make the best use of the hard-earned taxes provided by the residents of Sidney.

What’s your vision for your community in 25 years?

An inviting, liveable community as the market town for the greater Peninsula which attracts and engages all residents regardless of age, economics or abilities.

What’s one “big idea” you have for your community?

To revitalize the iconic representations of our community, like the Sidney Pier, making all proud of the place we live.
