There may be a pandemic and fewer people travelling, but things are starting to look a lot like previous years at B.C. Ferries terminals this weekend.
As of late afternoon Sunday, there was a two-sailing wait out of Swartz Bay with the 5 p.m. and the 7 p.m. sailings to Tsawwassen at full capacity. The 8 p.m. sailing was half full as of 4:30 p.m.
At the other end, Tsawwassen is showing a two-sailing wait with the 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. sailings full and the 7 p.m. sailing at 62 per cent capacity.
The Queen of Alberni’s mechanical issues have been fixed and it is back running between Tsawwassen and Duke Point.
But the Salish Eagle, operating between Comox, Powell River and Texada Island, will be operating on a revised schedule for the rest of today after the Island Discovery vessel experienced mechanical issues earlier today.
