What are the top three issues?

Central Saanich's unnecessary rising debt.

Transparency and accountability.

Protecting our farm and rural lands.

Why should people vote for you?

My role if elected is to represent all of the people, to listen, to have an open mind, to question my own reasoning and assumptions. I will be accountable and available. I will encourage, include and inspire everyone to participate in caring for our exquisite community. We are all one, we all belong.

What are the best things about your community?

Its beauty, its rural ambience, its heritage, its community pride and the love its people have for all of this.

What are the most vexing things about your community?

Overspending on frills. Never ending pressure from those wishing to build high priced developments for those who don't live here rather than true affordable housing for those who do. Pressure to break open the farm and rural lands to development despite the clear will of the people as reflected in their community plan. Lack of suitable activites or meeting places for teens. A sense in the community that some councillors only listen to you when they need your vote and brush you off afterward.
