Spiritual Perspectives is a new bi-monthly event presented by the Victoria Multifaith Society (VMS) in conjunction with various communities associated with VMS. Come explore hot topics and current events, learning from each other’s unique spiritual insights and experiences. Each event will be hosted by a different religious/spiritual community and will include:
- brief keynote on a specific topic by the host community
- small group discussions
- light refreshments
At the Victoria Truth Centre on August 11th at 2:00 pm, 2815 Cedar Hill Rd. (at Hillside), we will explore the topic of Social Media and its impact on our lives. Numbers are limited so please register early.

Social media forums have helped us connect with friends and family all over the world. Yet the book The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt and the documentary The Social Dilemma have caused much reflection on the unintended consequences of social media and a search for solutions. How can we benefit from these tools, mitigate risks and maintain the mental and spiritual health and well-being of ourselves and our communities?
