Crestpoint Real Estate Investments Ltd. has acquired a sixstorey office building in Edmonton in a deal it values at more than $24 million. Crestpoint, a part of the Connor, Clark and Lunn financial Group, says the purchase of the 92,500-square foot West Chambers Building follows the company's strategy of diversifying its real estate portfolio. Crestpoint provides institutional and high net worth investors with direct access to Canadian commercial real estate assets. With the addition of the property, Crestpoint's real estate portfolio includes 13 holdings in Quebec, Ontario, Alberta and B.C.
