Vancouver Island Brewery rolled out Storm Watcher Winter Lager this week. GM Jim Dodds said the new lager has "the warm and sweet flavours of caramel and toffee" and was initially one of three recipes created in small casks. Feedback from a customer tasting event helped with the final recipe. Storm Watcher is the seasonal replacement for the independent brewery's successful Beachcomber Summer Ale.
