Target Canada will close both of its stores in Greater Victoria next week, with the Tillicum Centre location shut on Monday and Hillside Centre’s store locking up on Thursday. In addition, stores in Nanaimo and Courtenay will be closing on April 1.
The Island stores are the latest wave of 62 closures before the Easter weekend. Target has been liquidating its inventory after announcing in January that it would be discontinuing its Canadian operations.
