The upcoming tour by Crash Test Dummies will make two Island stops in August, concerts that will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Winnipeg group’s most celebrated album, God Shuffled His Feet.

The Grammy-nominated quartet, which recently reunited, will perform the album in its entirety during two shows at the Mary Winspear Centre in Sidney (Aug. 8-9) and one performance at the Port Theatre in Nanaimo (Aug. 10).

The concerts — part of the band’s first full tour of Canada and the United States in nearly two decades — will also feature new material from singer-songwriter Brad Roberts along with staples from the band’s catalogue, including Superman’s Song, The Ghosts That Haunt Me and Androgynous.

Tickets for the Sidney performance go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through marywinspear.ca. They are also available in person from the box office or by phone at 250-656-0275.
