Los Angeles police say they are investigating a series of death threats levelled at Canadian actor Ellen Page.
They are not revealing any details about the threats, which reportedly include Twitter messages.
The L.A. Times and the celebrity blog site TMZ obtained a search warrant affidavit that quotes one tweet as stating: "I'm going to murder Ellen Page. She's dead."
Reports say the threats include a phone call to organizers of the L.A. Film Festival, which screened Page's movie To Rome with Love in June.
