Brad Smith, the first star of The Bachelor Canada, ditched twice as many ladies as he was expected to in the third episode of the reality show, which was shot at Bear Mountain.
The beefy former football player said farewell to four bachelorettes including 26-yearold Sophie from Moncton, N.B.; 27-year-old Michelle B. of Newmarket, Ont.; 25-year-old Nicole of St. Thomas, Ont.; and 25-yearold Tia of Ottawa.
Smith said he wanted to spend more quality time with the eight suitors he was more certain about, including a virginal pastor and a Kim Kar-dashian look-alike who used to date NBA forward Kris Humphries.
