Get pedaling with an Olympic athlete at this Saturday's Oak Bay Bike Festival, hosted by Recreation Oak Bay.

Events at Willows Beach Park include:

- 10 to 11: 30 a.m.: Six-kilometre community bike ride led by Olympic cycling bronze medallist Gillian Carleton and Oak Bay Mayor Nils Jensen.

- 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Skills workshops and bike safety checks with the latest bikes on display.

- 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Small group rides on open roads led by Tripleshot Cycling Club.

- 11: 30 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Bike rodeo with the Oak Bay Police.

- Next Saturday (Sept. 29) take part in a bike-towork skills course.

The course is $30 and pre-registration is required. It runs 8: 45 a.m. to 4: 30 p.m. at Windsor Park Pavilion. For more information, go to biketowork.ca/victoria/workshops.
