This is the final weekend to view a collection of 60 photographic portraits of Queen Elizabeth at the Royla B.C. Museum in celebration of her Diamond Jubilee.

The collection, which spans 30 years, includes a number of rarely seen photographs taken by the late royal photographer Cecil Beaton. Called a magnificent collaboration between Crown and camera, The collection follows Elizabeth from her roles as a princess, monarch and mother. Beaton first photographed her in 1942.

The images are accompanied by excerpts from his dairy on the complexities of each shot.

Regular admission fees apply. The museum is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day (and until 10 p.m. on Fridays through September).
