Here's your chance to meet Ollie the Pug in person.

On Saturday, Times Colonist arts writer Adrian Chamberlain will be signing his new book, Adventures with Ollie.

Published by Oolichan Books, Adventures with Ollie is a collection of Chamberlain's humour columns for the Times Colonist. The stories follow the exploits of his pug dog, Ollie. Chamberlain chronicles the highs and lows of dog ownership, such as smuggling Ollie into summer cabins and his wife's embarrassing habit of dressing Ollie in strange costumes.

The signing takes place Saturday from 2 to 3 p.m. at Munro's Books. Chamberlain will also be at Munro's today from 6 to 8 p.m., for a multi-author event. Ollie will be there for both appearances.

Originally from Gabriola Island, Chamberlain has written for the Times Colonist since 1987. Before coming to Victoria, he was an arts writer with the Winnipeg Free Press. His novel for teens, Rock Star, was published by Orca Books in 2010.
