Mental Health Visiting and Activity Volunteers: Volunteer Access at Volunteer Victoria is recruiting mental health visiting and activity volunteers to assist residents living in mental health group homes. Volunteers visit, go for walks, provide fitness programs or activities, or enjoy common interests in the community. Age 19-plus, six-month commitment, once a week. • Communications and Media Co-ordinator: Primary responsibilities include marketing chapter events to television, radio, newspaper and on social media. Flexible hours. Approximately five to 20 hours per month, one-year minimum commitment.

Art Program Volunteers: Victoria Women’s Transition House Society is seeking four volunteers to assist with a community art program, working with women who have experienced intimate-partner or family violence. Volunteers should be interested and comfortable working with art materials and helping participants who may have physical disabilities to engage in art projects overseen by a group facilitator. Volunteers will help with set up, take down and refreshments. The program starts March 2 and runs for four hours on Thursday afternoons for 10 weeks.
