B.C. Ferries’ website, app and call centre went down on Monday morning, the last day of the busy May long weekend.
Anyone checking the website to make a reservation or check ferry schedules was met with the message, “Our site is currently unavailable. We’re working to get back up and running. Try again soon.” The B.C. Ferries app also stopped functioning, as did the phone system.
In a Twitter message, B.C. Ferries blamed an “IT outage” for the issues.
Systems were working again by mid-afternoon Monday.
