The B.C. College of Nurses and Midwives is warning employers of an unregistered person using multiple names to try and get health-care work.

A woman claiming to be a registered nurse is trying to get a job in a B.C. hospital, says the professional regulator of nurses in a public advisory.

The B.C. College of Nurses and Midwives said Charrybelle Talaue has posed as a registered nurse in order to seek employment at a hospital.

Talaue may use different names, including Charrybelle Perez Talaue, Charrybelle Talaue Baldesancho, Belle Talaue, Belle Marie, Charrybelle Baldesancho or Charie Talaue.

“This person has never been and is not a registrant of BCCNM and is not entitled to practise as a registered nurse in British Columbia,” said the regulator in a notice posted on its website.

Talaue may also be using the name of a person registered with the B.C. College of Nurses and Midwives, Yves Anglehart. She may be using the variations Belle Yves Talaue Anglehart or Yves Belle Anglehart.

The college reminded employers they need to verify an applicant’s registration status with the college for positions of registered nurses, registered psychiatric nurses, licensed practical nurses, nurse practitioners, and midwives.

The process ensures that only qualified applicants are employed in nursing and midwifery positions in B.C., it said.
