Body of missing Metchosin man found in park

Hikers in the Sea to Sea Regional Park near Sooke have discovered the remains of a Metchosin man missing since Jan. 30. West Shore RCMP said in a statement the remains of Steven Grant were found on Sunday.

Hikers in the Sea to Sea Regional Park near Sooke have discovered the remains of a Metchosin man missing since Jan. 30.

West Shore RCMP said in a statement the remains of Steven Grant were found on Sunday.

They do not believe criminality was involved in his death.

The 53-year-old’s pickup truck had been found in the Sooke area on Feb. 6.
