Canada-wide warrant issued for drug trafficker who disappeared while on supervised release

The RCMP have issued a Canada-wide warrant for the arrest of a convicted drug trafficker who was last seen in Nanaimo. Courtenay Cross, 45, had been free on statutory release since Dec. 16 after serving 27 months for drug trafficking.

The RCMP have issued a Canada-wide warrant for the arrest of a convicted drug trafficker who was last seen in Nanaimo.

Courtenay Cross, 45, had been free on statutory release since Dec. 16 after serving 27 months for drug trafficking. Prisoners having served two-thirds of a federal prison sentence are released with supervision requirements.

Cross had been approved to stay at a residence in Nanaimo but five days after her release, she left the home and her current location is unknown.

Cross is described as a Caucasian woman, five feet and six inches tall and weighing approximately 120 pounds.
