Additional delays are expected on the Malahat on Monday after a large commercial truck smashed into a median.
A crane truck travelling southbound hit the median and knocked out a section of the barrier between Goldstream Provincial Park and Langford, B.C.’s Ministry of Transportation said in a tweet.
DriveBC says the centre lane is closed and delays are expected.
“It’s a reminder. Drive to conditions. Drive slowly, because we’ve had to close that highway to get that truck taken off the road,” Transportation Minister Rob Fleming said during an update on the province’s response to last week’s severe flooding.
