Comox Valley RCMP are looking for a 22-year-old Hornby Island man last seen a week ago.
Solaris Dey was last seen in the Union Bay area on Nov. 21. Mounties believe he might be somewhere on the Lower Mainland.
Friends and family told police it is out of character for Dey to be out of contact for this long.
“Police are very concerned for Solaris Dey’s health and well-being,” said RCMP spokesman Const. Rob Gardner.
Dey is described as white, five-foot-six and about 120 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.
Police ask anyone with information on Dey’s whereabouts to contact their local police department or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
