The Galloping Goose Trail will be closed at the McKenzie interchange starting Monday and continuing until the end of the month to allow installation of a sound wall.
The closure will be in place between McKenzie Avenue and the spot where Burnside Road West meets the trail.
Trail users will be able to detour around the closure using McKenzie and Burnside, and crossing McKenzie on the protected overhead path in the area. The detour will be clearly marked and traffic controllers will be on duty as needed.
