A 27-year-old Victoria man has been charged after a robbery and stabbing at a downtown business Monday.
Police responded to a call just before noon at a business in the 1500-block of Vancouver Street. A man had reportedly stolen money and stabbed a staff member with a knife when he was confronted.
He ran off and could not immediately be located by police.
The stabbing victim was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Major Crime Unit detectives and forensic-identification officers continued to investigate and arrested a suspect Tuesday morning in the 900-block of Pandora Avenue.
Blaine Isherwood has been remanded in custody.
