Victoria police are asking for help locating 63-year-old Luc Racicot.
He was last seen in July and was reported missing on Tuesday. Police believe that he travelled to Vancouver at the beginning of August.
Both officers and his family are concerned because this behaviour is unusual for him.
Racicot is described as white, five-foot-five and 160 pounds with grey hair and brown eyes.
Anyone who sees him should call 911, while anyone with information about him is asked to call Victoria police at 250-995-7294 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
