Most B.C. residents should receive a third affordability credit this month to help with soaring inflation costs, starting on Wednesday.
The B.C. government says approximately 85 per cent of British Columbians will receive a full or partial payment in April.
The majority of eligible people will see the credit automatically deposited into their bank account. The amount is based on income and family size, providing as much as $164 per adult and $41 per child, or approximately $410 for a family with two children.
The other two affordability credits were doled out in October and January. All together, the government is spending about $1.5 billion.
