Nanaimo RCMP are asking for the public’s help locating a 26-year-old man who has been missing since Thursday.
Brody David has not been heard from since leaving the north Nanaimo home he shares with his mother last Thursday. Police say he left his home carrying a new black sleeping bag and might be staying in the bush.
His family and police are worried for his safety because he has a medical condition that requires medication.
David walks daily and has been known to travel long distances to Errington, Nanoose and Oceanside.
He is white, five-foot-six, 150 pounds and has extremely short brown hair and green eyes. Police say the photo provided is several years old. He was last seen wearing a green hoodie, dark blue pants and slip-on white and black shoes.
David is approachable and does not pose a risk to the public, police say.
Anyone who sees David or knows where he is is asked to call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345 and quote file # 2021-32693.
