B.C. Transit is no longer offering free service after 6 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.

Communications manager Tessa Humphries said scheduled service for the Victoria Regional Transit System will remain the same.

B.C. Transit is cancelling the free service in the wake of recent provincial health orders, which prohibit indoor organized parties and celebrations like New Year’s Eve parties of any size.
