Police release image of suspects in theft of PIN pad at Nanaimo business

Nanaimo RCMP are investigating a “brazen” theft of a PIN pad from a Calder Road business.

Surveillance video shows a male suspect unplugging the device on the afternoon of July 12 and putting it in a woman’s bag before the two leave the building.

The male suspect has dark brown hair, trimmed sideburns and a beard, and large tattoos on his left forearm and left shin. He was wearing black lace-up hiking boots, grey knee-length shorts, and a khaki T-shirt.

The female suspect has shoulder-length black hair and dark polish on her fingernails and toenails, and was wearing a black, knee-length dress and black sandals.
