Police seek witnesses to Ladysmith crash that injured four

The crash happened on Tuesday at about 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Robert Street and Esplanade Avenue

Ladysmith RCMP said both drivers and their passengers were taken to hospital by ambulance and treated for injuries that ranged from minor to serious.

Ladysmith RCMP is asking for witnesses to a collision involving two vehicles that sent four people to hospital.

The crash happened on Tuesday at about 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Robert Street and Esplanade Avenue in Ladysmith. Police said a blue Dodge Grand Caravan was travelling southbound on Esplanade while a white Pontiac Sunfire was travelling northbound.

The collision sent the Pontiac Sunfire into a traffic-control pole at the intersection.

Police said both drivers and their passengers were taken to hospital by ambulance and treated for injuries that ranged from minor to serious.

Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has dash-cam footage to contact Ladysmith RCMP at 250-245-2215.
