Victoria police are looking for witnesses after arresting a man for firing a pellet gun at people in the 900 block of Pandora Avenue last week.

No victims have been identified in the shooting, which occurred at about 10:15 p.m. on Oct. 2.

Police were able to identify and locate the suspect through surveillance footage, which showed a man firing several rounds from the pellet gun before walking away.

VicPD said it plans to recommend charges to Crown counsel. The suspect remains in custody pending a court date.

Investigators are now hoping to speak with witnesses or potential victims.

“The use of any type of firearm, whether real or replica, in a threatening manner is unacceptable,” said Const. Terri Healy.
