Port Alberni RCMP are looking for a man who was last seen Dec. 2.
They say it’s unusual for 51-year-old Scott Andrew Bezanson to be out of contact with family and friends.
He was last seen near Old Nanaimo Highway and is known to frequent the 3rd Avenue area.
Police and search-and-rescue teams will be focusing on those areas Friday.
Bezanson has a fair complexion and is five-foot-10 and 150 pounds with a slim build. He has short light-brown hair and blue eyes, and tends to be clean-shaven.
