More than 2,000 customers were without power Friday morning in the area of Duncan, North Cowichan and Maple Bay.
BC Hydro is on the scene of and the cause of the outage is under investigation.
The outage area is south of McKinley Street, north of Westcan Terminal Road, and east of Somenos Road.
