Two sailings of the Coho ferry were cancelled Thursday evening after an RV caught fire on the 3 p.m. sailing from Victoria.

Smoke could be seen coming from the vehicle deck as the ferry pulled into Port Angeles.

There were no injuries.

BlackBall Ferry Line, which operates the Coho, cancelled the 5:15 p.m. sailing from Port Angeles and the 7:30 p.m. sailing from Victoria on Thursday after the incident.

“We are thankful for the efforts of our crew and the Port Angeles Fire Department in containing the fire,” the ferry line said in a statement posted online.

All sailings were expected to operate as scheduled on Friday.
