Saanich police and the Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team converged on a single-family house in Saanich in response to a weapons incident Wednesday afternoon.
Police issued a statement at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday advising the public that they were at an incident in the 300-block of Vincent Avenue, off Tillicum Road in the Gorge area of Saanich.
Police say that neighbouring homes have been notified and they were taking all precautions necessary to resolve the situation safely.
