Nanaimo RCMP are asking for help locating an 80-year-old man who hasn’t been seen since noon Wednesday.
Jacques Bonenfant, a resident of a Nanaimo assisted-care facility, has a strong French accent.
He is described as five-foot-four and 155 pounds with grey hair and green eyes.
Bonenfant was last seen walking south on Terminal Avenue near downtown Nanaimo. He was wearing a light-coloured jacket, a green hat and red shoes.
The photo provided of him is several years old and shows him heavier than he is now.
Anyone who sees Bonenfant is asked to call 911.
