Someone with a sweet tooth appears to have been behind a recent break-in at Nanaimo’s Rock City Elementary School.

Nanaimo RCMP said the break-in was reported about 1 a.m. on Aug. 23, and all that seemed to have been taken were ice cream bars.

An empty container was found by officers.

Computers and other devices were untouched, RCMP said.

Police said entry to the school might have come through the roof, which has been reinforced.
