Victoria police want the public to assist with information on at least nine suspicious fires that have occurred in Victoria since April 25. The graphic above shows where and when the fires occurred and their nature. “Our concern is that they may be [related], and we’re hoping members of the public can help us identifying those responsible,” said Det. Sgt. Mike Johnston. Anyone with information is asked to call the Victoria police detective tip line at (250) 995-7444. Anyone who sees anything suspicious should call police immediately, Johnston said.
