A southbound lane remains closed on the Patricia Bay Highway after two car crashes that resulted in lane closures in both directions on Tuesday afternoon.
Saanich police said officers responded to two crashes on the highway that resulted in minor injuries.
Southbound lanes from Sayward Road to Claremont Avenue were closed, and northbound traffic was reduced to one lane, police said in a post to X, the social media site formerly known as Twitter.
A single lane of southbound traffic reopened and both northbound lanes reopened just after 4 p.m., police said.
