A Victoria police officer was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries Sunday after a collision with another vehicle downtown.
VicPD spokesman Const. Cam MacIntyre said the two occupants of the other vehicle, a Volkswagen SUV, were treated at the scene by paramedics and cleared medically.
Two airbags on the SUV were deployed and there were brief transit and traffic delays.
The crash happened at 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of Douglas and Fisgard streets and is currently under investigation. MacIntyre said more details would be released Monday.
