Finlayson Street was closed at Blanshard for over an hour on Friday after two Nissan Versas collided about 1:10 p.m.

One of the Versas was towed from the scene.

Wet roads appeared to be a factor in the collision, Victoria police said.

No injuries were reported.

Victoria police also responded to a crash nearby about 1 p.m. on Summit Avenue, off Quadra Street, where a car went through a fence.

Traffic analysts were still at the crash site about 3 p.m. and Summit remained closed.

There was no information on injuries.

Saanich police also attended a single-vehicle crash just after noon at the Pat Bay Highway and Vanalman Avenue that closed a southbound highway lane.
