Some households in Victoria and Esquimalt will be asked how they feel about the VicPD as an annual community survey hits mailboxes this month.

The survey, which is sent to a random sampling of 5,000 addresses in Victoria and Esquimalt each year, will ask about topics ranging from how safe people feel to how satisfied they are with policing in the city.

The survey is not open to the general public, as it relies on random sampling to draw from a statistically significant and diverse participant group.

The survey results will be posted on the OpenVicPD portal on the vicpd.ca website.
