The City of Victoria has appointed Mayor Marianne Alto and councillors Jeremy Caradonna, Chris Coleman and Dave Thompson to the Capital Regional District Board for the next four years.

The four will also be appointed to the Capital Regional Hospital District board and Capital Regional District Housing Corporation board.

The appointees are based on the convention that the mayor and the three members of council who received the most votes for CRD director positions be named to the boards.

The city also confirmed alternates for the CRD board are councillors Stephen Hammond, Marg Gardiner, Susan Kim, Matt Dell and Krista Loughton.

The first meeting of all three CRD boards is Nov. 16.
