Police officers were at the Victoria courthouse on Burdett Avenue responding to a report of a bomb threat Wednesday morning.
Victoria police spokesman Const. Cam MacIntyre said the building was evacuated. Officers with bomb-detection dogs have conducted an exterior sweep and are investgating inside to ensure there are no suspicious packages, he said.
Police said the building was cleared by about 12:45 p.m., and people could return to work.
UPDATE | We are working to clear the building with PSD Bodi & PSD Maverick from @ics_k9. Thank you for your patience. #yyj pic.twitter.com/u9F1jmpvHl
