Bacteria warnings at several area beaches have been lifted due to recent test results, including Willows Beach and Elk Lake’s Hamsterly Beach.
The Willows Beach warnings were at the south end and the foot of Estevan Avenue.
Warnings are currently in place at Kinsmen Beach in Esquimalt Gorge Park and Churchill Beach on Salt Spring Island.
Beaches popular for swimming are tested regularly from mid-May through September by Island Health environmental-health officers.
