A woman suffered minor abrasions after she was struck by a vehicle on the Patricia Bay Highway on Friday night, police said.
The incident took place at the Mount Newton Cross Road intersection about 8 p.m.
Central Saanich police said no charges were being contemplated against the driver.
The southbound fast lane was closed to traffic as Central Saanich RCMP and firefighters responded.
The highway reopened about 10 p.m.
